NOT Cinderella

Scene 1 - Belly Dance Class: Above - the Belly Dance Teacher (Leonie) leads the class before being interrupted by the arrival of the Wicked Step-Sisters, followed by Cinderella carrying all their bags. The teacher unveils a surprise - there is to be a bellydance competition!

Scene 2 - Cinderella's House: Above - Cinderella (Ferah) helps the Wicked Step-Sisters (Ruth, Nabila and Dona) with their ablutions in preparation for their performance in the competition. Waxing, tweezing and botoxing takes place before an unfortunate hair colour accident is revealed.

Scene 2 - Cinderella's House: Above - After the Wicked Step-Sisters depart Cinderella is sad until her animal friends arrive to cheer her up, including butterflies (Maria, blue and Reut, pink), bunny (Annette), cat (Marlene), shaggy dog (Donna) and mice (Angela and Gizelle).

Scene 2 - Cinderella's House: Cinderella dances. Suddenly her Fairy Godmother (Raylee) appears bringing Cinderella a CD of bellydance music and a beautiful cabaret costume - Cinderella SHALL enter the competition!

Scene 3 - Belly Dance Competition at the Sultan's Palace Nightclub: Above, from top left - the competition judge - the owner of the Sultan's Palace Nightclub aka The Sultan (Annette) takes his place accompanied by the principal of the 7 Veils School of Bellydance (Leonie). The competition entrants perform - the Sapphire Sirens, Christine, Robyn, Sharon, Merril, and students of the 7 Veils School of Bellydance (played by Newtown Middle Eastern Dance Centre).

Scene 3 - Belly Dance Competition at the Sultan's Palace Nightclub: Above, from top left - Now it is the turn of the Wicked Step-Sisters to compete - but their performance quickly deteriorates into a brawl ... Finally Cinderella performs, much to the chagrin of the Wicked Step-Sisters.

Scene 3 - Belly Dance Competition at the Sultan's Palace Nightclub: Above, from left - it's time for the Sultan to decide on a winner. He taunts the competitors with the coveted trophy. Certain competitors try to exert undue influence on him ... and everyone gets frustrated that the Sultan has delayed the announcement of his decision. Finally he announces the winner - Cinderella! The Wicked Step-Sisters remain unimpressed.
